Launched in 2008, JEMA Biosciences has focused on the development of first-to-market biochemical agents. We are proud to announce the completion of our second reagent, mycothiol disulfide. Our goal is to provide quality products for research efforts as a cost effective manner. To date, our programs have led to the first commercialization of two important redox thiols, namely, bacillithiol and mycothiol. We have seen these materials have an impact and thank authors such as Chawla M, Mehta M, Parikh P, Chandra P, Bhave D, Kumar D, Carroll KS, Singh A. PLoS Pathog. 2014, 10, e1003902; Clair G, Lorphelin A, Armengaud J, Duport C. J. Proteomics. 2013, 94, 527; and Gustafsson TN, Sahlin M, Lu J, Sjöberg BM, Holmgren A. J. Biol. Chem. 2012, 287, 39686 for recognizing our reagents. Ongoing efforts at JEMA are now examining the development of tools for the study of small molecule tumor markers, splicing inhibitors, as well as a panel of new natural product leads. We thank you for your support.
